Hi Guys,
I got my I140 denied and one attorney suggests that I can file for New I140 and also Appeal to AAO office at the same time, another one suggests that if appeal is filed USICS will not process I140 until the decision is made on Appeal, did any one file file both new I140 and Appeal at the same time and got result for I140 earlier than Appeal.

I'm with Michael on the lizard shot ... maybe it's the disconnected rear foot that makes it look odd.
I REALLY like the water lily shot, Josh. The composition is beautiful, with the other lily pads forming a "circle of circles" counterbalance to the flower. Very, very nice ... in fact, probably my favorite of all your posted photos. (not that I have anything against the others)

My lawyer received all the receipts for our AOS, EAS and AP applications and today I got COPIES in mail from her.
Wasn't she supposed to send me the originals and keep the copies? After all, it's my application.
I want to call her but I'm not sure what the general practice is. Did you guys get copies or the original receipts from your lawyers?

Your assumption is not right.
Your visa must have a validity date. You can travel out without any problem as long as your travel dates are within that VISA validity date.
No problem if you are not willing to travel..and want to stay in USA. If your H1 is about to expire...then make sure it is extended.

Hello sdouglas,
That is a problem with Swift and not with your PC configuration. I'm not sure why it would freeze or lockup when importing files. My best advice would be for you to uninstall Swift 3D and re-install it again. The problem should usually be solved. If the problem appears, it could be an error external to that of Swift.
Try re-installing your graphics card drivers if re-installing Swift does not solve the problem. If all else fails, try asking Electric Rain for help. It could be a bug =)

after you recieve the EAD card you have to apply for SSN at your local SSN office.the time period to recieve SSN is different in different states.i guess the minimum time is 15 business days. please correct me if I am wrong.

You will be using XNA Game Studio (installs into Visual Studio), to develop games. All your time other than for graphics will be spent in Visual Studio 2010. Highly recommend you have a device. Testing in the emulator is not the greatest for games.
Note: All you need is the freely available tools (Express Editions). Having the student or paid versions does not really benefit those using the XNA Game Studio, or building applications for WP7. I'm sure that page says that, just didn't want you to get confused.
If you have done any other game programming you will find everything pretty easy, just takes a bit to get use to. It sounds like you are new to C#, but don't worry most tutorials are setup in a way this shouldn't be a problem.

Hi,
Our attorney prepared and filed our (mine and my wife's) 485, EAD and AP in July 2007.
We received our EAD and AP in 2007 and they are about to expire.
We are currently planning to renew our EAD and AP and wanted to apply on our own this time.
In that context, we requested for a copy of our application forms from the attorney.
We never got to verify the filled application forms until now (the attorney sent us only the pages to be signed at the time of filing)
To our surprise, we figured out the following mistakes in the application forms:
1) My I-94# in 485 and EAD application forms was wrongly mentioned. But I had my A# correct and it matches with the one on my EAD.
2) My wife's date of last entry in US was wrongly mentioned in 485 and EAD.
3) My mother's name was misspelled (a letter was missing from her first name)
I am not sure how bad the above mistakes are.
Here are my concerns now:
1) Are I-94# and last entry date used during namecheck or any other phase during the overall process? We didnot travel outside US since we applied 485. What if we travelled (the I-94 and last entry dates would have anyways changed).
Do we need to update these details explicitly after every travel? How important is it to get these details corrected in our applications?
2) If we apply for renewal of EAD and AP with the correct details this time, is it going to be fine? Do we still need to get them fixed in our 485?
OR
Will it be a problem for renewal because the details are different from the original application?
3) What is the procedure to follow in this situation?
Any advice in this matter is greatly appreciated.

Since the last few pay-rolls, my employer is giving everybody a photocopy of the Pay-check from Pay-chex Inc.To reduce costs of printing and mailing the Pay-checks, My employer is asking Pay-chex Inc to email the Bi-weekly pay-rolls of everybody.
Wondering if the US Embassy in India would create an issue by not bringing the original Pay-stubs.

I am in NJ and my current H1b expires on Nov 2008. My DL expires on Set 2008 . I was under impression that I need atleast 6 months or more valid visa to get licence.
Company didnot agree to file premium process for H1b. They are saying I have plenty of time and they will apply in Aug . I and we know that now a days it takes more than 3-4 months to get visa.
Is there a way I can get temporary lic in Nj. lawer was saying I can request 3 month temp lic beased on Notice received from CIS. Is that true ? does any one gone through same in NJ ?

My husband is in H1B visa and he transfered his visa to another company. Got the I-797 approvals too. Along with that mine and my kids H4 also got approved.
Now I am urgently required to travel to India, and want to return from India without going for stamping. Here are other details.
1) Even my previous H4 visa is not expired while I return from India.
2) I have the new H4 approval notices and copy of husbands new H1s I797 with me.
Will it be an issue if I reenter without stamping. Our plan is to go for Visa stamping to any nearby consulate in US border after I come back. Please advise.
